Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) Expanded Duties Module 3 is organized by UCLA School of Dentistry and would be held during Jan 7 - Apr 23, 2017 at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, California, United States of America. The targeted audience for this medical event basically for Dentists.

This RDAEF Expanded Course will be taught in a series of three individual courses (modules) that must be successfully completed in sequence within an established time frame before sitting for the new State Board Examination. Each module is offered in such a manner that RDAs will have greater flexibility in making their required budgetary and time commitment to complete this program.

Learning Objectives :
- Impression taking for tooth-borne prostheses
- Adjustment and cementation of permanent indirect restorations of ceramic, PFM and cast metal
- Cementation of endodontic points
- Clinical experience in placement and finishing of Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 direct filling restorations for children and adults

Note : To successfully complete the program and be eligible to sit for the new State Board Examination, participants are required to pass all three modules with a 75% or better pass rate.
