RATS: Techniques and Optimal Security Masterclass is organized by Medical Training Center (MTC) and would be held during Nov 16 - 17, 2017 at Medical Training Center, Rouen, Haute-Normandie, France.
Course overview
One of the problems of minimal invasive thoracic surgery is major intraoperative complication, especially in RATS. To address this safety concern, we started developing new tools 3 years ago with the aim of improving operative safety and using a multidisciplinary approach. One of the main aspects of preventing and managing major complications is based on simulation with team resource management, acute stress management and the development of non-technical skills. This part of the course will draw on the expertise of different specialists: an anesthesiologist, a radiologist, a human factor expert from aviation, a psychologist, a specialist in communication and of course a surgeon.
The objectives of this course are to describe our 3-arm robotic techniques with special features on new energy devices and to enhance operative security with prevention and management skills.
Conference Objectives are :
• Tips and Tricks in complex cases
• Handle mini-invasive thoracic pathologies
• Prevention and management of complications
• Learn the mini invasive Approach to thoracic surgery
• Operative Security: New Tools.
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
