OVERVIEW
Professionalism in Medical Practice: Avoiding the Pitfalls is organized by College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) and would be held during Nov 03 - 04, 2017 at Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue (SFU), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The target audience for this medical event basically for Practice Management.
Following completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
• identify principles of professionalism in medical practice
• identify professional boundaries in medical practice
• discuss the difference between boundary crossings and boundary violations
• list the personal and practice factors that may contribute to boundary crossings and boundary violations
• understand the assessment principles in the evaluation of physicians who commit boundary violations
• describe the preventive measures to avoid boundary violations in medical practice.
