Objectives : At the end of this continuing medical education activity, participants should be able to :
• Discuss perioperative medical management to be applied by the medical team
• Develop a strategy that improves the efficiency of medical care provided to decrease hospital stay, readmission, and mortality
• Review complex medical cases requiring multidisciplinary input including echocardiography, cardiac MR/CT, cath, and surgery to develop a strategy that supports unified and medically appropriate decision making with the objective of minimizing erroneous diagnoses and inappropriate interventions
