OVERVIEW

North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) 10th Annual Symposium is organized by North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) and would be held during Oct 19 - 21, 2017 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for educational needs of nurses, nurse practitioners and other health professionals from a variety of settings and levels to include the specialties of oncology, endocrinology, surgery, pathology, internal medicine, gastroenterology, nuclear medicine, interventional and diagnostic radiology, pulmonology, research and primary care. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 15.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives are :
• Identify the challenges of delivering a well-coordinated, patient-centered cancer care in a complex modern healthcare system
• Describe the role of information technology (IT) advances to help both providers and patients
• Explain how patient data, provider and patient involvement, and informatics innovations can support high-quality cancer care

• Identify epidemiological trends in pts with NETs
• Discuss surgical interventions
• Describe the various processes employed by the pathology staff in slide preparation
• Discuss the importance of quality controls in the pathology setting
• Describe the fundamentals of external vs internal radiotherapy
