OVERVIEW
Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (LEP) : Mentored Continuing Professional Development is organized by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and would be held during Mar 08 - 09, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson University College Building, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (LEP) is an established alternative to traditional Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) and open prostatectomy. This full-day course will focus on LEP techniques, instrumentation, current lasers used, and intravesical soft-tissue retrieving devices. This specific endourologic technique of the Lower Urinary Tract (LUT) is of particular relevance to practicing urologists.
The course uniquely combines didactic material and live-case demonstrations to provide interested urologists with a comprehensive learning experience. The course features two didactic presentations (Current Lasers used in the Lower Urinary Tract, Laser Enucleation of the Prostate: Instruments and Technique) on Day 1, followed by a full day of observation of LEP procedures with the opportunity to discuss the cases with the faculty performing the procedures
