Kiawah Eye 2017 is organized by Healio and would be held during Jun 1 - 3, 2017 at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, South Carolina, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event are Comprehensive Ophthalmologists.

Conference Objectives :
• Describe the latest technological advances and breakthroughs in the areas of cataract, cornea, glaucoma, refractive surgery, intraocular lenses, retina, advanced imaging, and other clinical and surgical topics, and how they can best be applied to your practice.
• Evaluate complicated ophthalmic cases on video by leading surgeons to better manage the daily hurdles encountered in the operating room and apply the most advanced techniques and technology that benefits the patient.
• Improve surgical practice by observing tips, techniques, and videos from experts explaining how their surgical methods went from good to great.
• Assess counseling techniques for difficult or dissatisfied patients pre- and postoperatively, to achieve and maintain a positive relationship with them.
• Examine the latest technological advances in cataract surgery such as femtosecond-assisted cataract surgery, toric, accommodating and multifocal IOLs; relaxing incisions to treat astigmatism, MIGs, as well as patient selection and preoperative strategies.
• Gain understanding of the latest surgical glaucoma techniques including the use of micro-invasive devices through didactic presentations, video case studies and panel discussion.
• Evaluate various corneal conditions such as astigmatism, corneal ulcers, herpes keratitis, dry eye, blepharitis, and corneal thinning disorders, as well as the overall optimization of the corneal surface prior to surgical procedures, to better apply the correct treatment.
