The target audience for this medical event basically for physician learner, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, intensivists, and those practicing emergency medicine.
This new comprehensive course offers a unique opportunity to learn how to put into clinical practice the rapidly expanding uses of PoCUS as the 21st Century Stethoscope. In this two-day course, you will learn firsthand from international leaders the fundamentals of airway, lung, gastric, abdominal, and focused cardiac ultrasound.
Educational objectives :
After participating in this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Integrate up-to-date PoCUS skills into daily clinical practice as the "21st-Century Stethoscope".
• Improve management of the critical patient or patient in shock.
• Diagnose acute respiratory complications of regional anesthesia such as pneumothorax and diaphragmatic paresis.
• Evaluate for patients with interstitial syndrome or pleural effusions.
• Manage challenging airway patients.
• Assess and diagnose patients with cardiopulmonary changes such as hypotension, hypoxia and shock
