International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies (IFHNOS)

International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies (IFHNOS) is organized by Eventual and would be held during Nov 16 - 18, 2017 at The Intercontinental Santiago, Santiago, Chile.

The Chilean Head and Neck Surgery Society, together with the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies (IFHNOS), are presenting, for the first time in Chile, the UPDATE ON HEAD AND NECK ONCOLOGY, IFHNOS WORLD TOUR 2017 .

The city of Santiago de Chile has been chosen to bring together all those specialists dedicated and interested in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer in Latin America. It is the third time that this course is done in a Hispanic American country, being the last one in 2010.
The IFHNOS World Tour is a comprehensive, ongoing medical education program that brings together the most respected leaders in the field of oncology and head and neck surgery. Ashok Shaha, Ehab Hanna, Louis Harrison, Bryan McIver, Patrick Gullane, Robert Haddad and Merrill Kies, led by Jatin P. Shah, will visit Latin America as the third stop of this worldwide program.
For two and a half days, they will present the latest advances in head and neck oncology, but also, they will debate with the audience about the complexities of managing this pathology, and on the last day, we will have the opportunity to dedicate a whole morning to the management and treatment of thyroid cancer, a prevalent problem in our region. This multidisciplinary course not only addresses the different medical specialties that diagnose and treat patients with head and neck cancer, but also all specialists from other disciplines who are actively involved in the treatment, care and rehabilitation of these patients, such as dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, nursing, kinesiology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, among others.
There are few opportunities in countries such as ours to count on a single occasion with such an outstanding group of experts in the area of ??head and neck oncology, which is why we believe this is an unforgettable opportunity for all those who want to continue learning and perfecting themselves in this complex area.
