International Association for Forensic Psychotherapy (IAFP) : Creating containment : working with parents with personality disorder is organized by International Association for Forensic Psychotherapy (IAFP) and will be held on Dec 15, 2017 at Oxford Quaker Meeting, Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom.

In this seminar we discuss disorders of personality and how they may present in parents. We review what is known about personality dysfunction in mothers and discuss possible therapeutic approaches, using a variety of group techniques.

We offer three presentations in which we present new research about personality and parenting; and describe different approaches to helping parents whose parenting skills have given rise to professional concern.
