General Practitioner Anesthetists (GPA) For Refresher Course 2017 is organized by University of British Columbia (UBC) and would be held during Oct 27 - 28, 2017 at Hotel Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The target audience for this medical event for Anesthetists, AAs & residents. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 11.00.
Course Description :
This course is specifically designed as a refresher course for General Practitioner Anesthetists. Designed to ensure interactivity and time to socialize with your colleagues, we start with a Friday evening dinner session (focusing on Resuscitation), followed by a full day of lectures and hands-on workshops on Saturday. The morning didactic lectures will cover a wide range of topics which were chosen to respond to the needs of family physicians practicing anesthesia in smaller communities. The afternoon workshops will give participants an opportunity to practice hands-on skills, including focused ultrasound, surgical airway, and awake intubation. All are welcome to attend an end of day wine & cheese reception on the Saturday as well.
