GALEN Advanced Course on Advances in Clinical CT is organized by European School of Radiology (ESOR) and would be held during Sep 8 - 9, 2017 at Swissotel Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland. The target audience for this medical event basically for senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows, as well as practicing radiologists interested in recent advances on CT imaging.
It is designed as an intense, one and a half day course and addresses current advances, applied innovations and practices in CT imaging of the whole body. This course gives the unique opportunity to evaluate the latest technological and imaging updates for state-of-the-art advanced CT imaging in radiology.
Learning objectives :
• to learn about current CT scanner technology, scanning options, dose reduction techniques and iterative reconstruction
• to enhance knowledge on clinical applications of dual energy CT and subtraction imaging techniques
• to learn about CT perfusion techniques of the whole body, as well as in neuroimaging
• to be informed about CT imaging updates and their implications in chest, cardiac, musculoskeletal, abdominal and vascular diseases
