ESPGHAN Gastrointestinal Motility Hands On training Course is organized by European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and would be held during Sep 26 - 27, 2017 at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, London, England, United Kingdom. The target audience for this medical event basically for Pediatric, Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Physiologist.
The proposed hands-on GI Motility Disorders course aims to provide exposure and expert guidance in GI motility disorders from a team of highly experienced and world renowned GI motility specialists.
The highly structured course set within one of Europe’s foremost clinical paediatric GI Motility centres aims to provide this training by
• Introducing delegates to the breadth of common and more specialised tests available for the investigation of GI motility disorders in children, ranging from those of the pharynx through to the anal sphincter
• Delivering teaching both by lectures to provide participants with a state of the art update on techniques as well as ‘hands on’ exposure and training, using actual equipment and where possible patients and volunteers
• Teaching delegates the protocols for, as well as analysis and interpretation of, procedures based on actual patient-based cases and data.
• Structuring the course to cover motility testing in sequence from the pharynx through to the upper and then lower GI tract
• Providing participants with access to course materials to enable application to clinical practice and ongoing education.
