American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI) 37th Annual Meeting
OVERVIEW
American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI) 37th Annual Meeting is organized by American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI) and would be held during Sep 17 - 20, 2017 at DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. The target audience for this medical meeting basically for Immunologists.
The Meeting will be preceded by a Clinical Symposium which will focus on all aspects of reproductive immunology.
With the advancement in discoveries and innovations in reproductive immunology, emerging information shows that there may exist similarities in mechanisms involved in the pregnancy associated immunosuppression to tumor-induced immunosuppression. This potential similarity opens up a new horizon of information exchange and collaboration between the reproductive immunologists in general with tumor immunologists. Therefore, to bring together this new horizon of scientific information and potential collaboration, a scientific session on “tumor immunology” is planned in this year’s annual meeting. We believe this additional session will foster collaboration between investigators involved in these two fields.
Course Objectives:
• Explain the role of inflammatory immune responses in adverse pregnancy outcome such as pre-eclampsia and preterm labor.
• Assess imaging and biomarkers for early detection of pregnancy complications.
• Review the up-to-date clinical approaches for repeated implantation failures and early pregnancy losses.
• Understand new advances in innate immunity mechanisms at the maternal fetal interface and immunotherapy for reproductive tumors.
• Evaluate the involvement of male and female immunity in reproduction.
• Understand the legal consequences of erroneous prescriptions in reproduction.
• Evaluate epigenetics and exosomes in placenta and their clinical relationship.
• Evaluate how stress, inflammation and immunity affect reproduction and pregnancy.
• Assess abnormal immunity in maternal fetal interface.
• Understand microRNA and epigenetic pathways in reproduction.
• Assess the consequences of current and emerging infections, HIV and Zika virus in pregnancy outcome.
