Purpose :
The Nurse Anesthesia Annual Congress of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is designed to provide a variety of educational topics that will develop the maximum effectiveness of CRNAs in their roles as healthcare providers in diverse settings across the nation.
Goals :
The AANA Professional Development Committee has reviewed program evaluations and other feedback from the AANA membership to identify the issues that affect nurse anesthesia practices. The topics are determined based on overall member surveys, national trends and issues, and gaps in knowledge to further develop the professional practice of CRNAs. The education activities were developed to meet the needs of CRNAs, student registered nurse anesthetists, and other healthcare providers with an interest in the topics.
Discover the latest technologies and maximize your educational opportunities with one of four Pre-Congress Workshops: Airway on Demand, Neuromuscular Monitoring, Fundamentals in Perioperative, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, or Obstetric Anesthesia.
Connect with thousands of nurse anesthetists and enjoy special events like the Welcome Reception at MoPOP, the 12th Annual Wellness Walk/Run, the Annual Banquet, the Anesthesia College Bowl, AANA Foundation's 'CRNAs Live at the Hard Rock Cafe' event, and special programming for SRNAs.
