American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) Basic Course in Allergy & Immunology is organized by American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and would be held during Jul 6 - 8, 2017 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center, Denver, Colorado, United States of America.
The Target Audience for this medical event for otolaryngologists integrating more allergy assessment and management into their practice, AAOA members providing specialized allergy care who need to remain current with literature based evidence and practice trends, residents, PA/NPs who work in otolaryngology, and allied health staff who support their physicians in the management of allergic patients. The Basic Course offers face-to-face opportunities with the faculty to discuss nuances and answer questions, as well as hands-on practica to demonstrate technique. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Purpose :
The Basic Course in Allergy & Immunology presents basic concepts and techniques applicable to the clinical care of allergic patients.

The AAOA CME program centers around clinical issues related to the care of allergy/immunology and inflammatory diseases of the airways and systems related to the head and neck. The Basic Course focuses on :
• More integration of SLIT into treatment discussions.
• Introduction to Allergy.
• Allergy Testing (Prick, IT, IDT, In Vitro) .
• Treatment of Allergy (SCIT, SLIT, Dose Calculations, Vial Prep).
• Introduction to Advanced Topics (Unified Airway, Asthma, Food Allergies, SLIT).
