Course Description:
This course is intended to improve the existing skills of the advanced spine interventionalist from a multispecialty perspective. A distinguished faculty from across North America combines didactic instruction and hands-on lab-based training. Topics relate to the clinical evaluation of complex pain and functional impairment. Noninterventional rehabilitation to manage complex pain disorders combined with interventional skills also are included. Advanced management options including the role of radiofrequency rhizotomy (cervical and lumbar spine), vertebral augmentation options, neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation, and intra-thecal therapies are presented.
