Advanced Airway Course Yellowstone/Tetons is organized by Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) and would be held during Jun 7 - 9, 2017 at Jackson Lake Lodge, Moran, Wyoming, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event basically for emergency physicians, but critical care physicians, anesthesiologists, and other clinicians responsible for emergency and difficult airway management are encouraged to attend. This CME conference has been approved with 16.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Advanced Airway Course focuses on advanced airway management techniques including flexible fiberoptics, video laryngoscopes, and surgical airways.
Learning objectives :
• Incorporate use of flexible nasoendoscopy with epiglottoscopy into practical airway management
• Explain the risks and benefits of RSI vs. awake (non-muscle relaxant use) intubation in emergency airway situations.
• Demonstrate optimal methods for nasoendoscopy using flexible scopes
• Execute the skills to perform nasoendoscopy to view upper airway anatomy and abnormalities
