OVERVIEW

Adirondack Canoe Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) is organized by University of Colorado Section of Wilderness & Environmental Medicine and would be held during Oct 01 - 08, 2017 at Adirondack Canoe, Minerva, New York, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 20 CME Credits.

The program will be camp based for the first three days, with a focus on basics, including canoe fundamentals, and core conceptual topics. This will be followed by a multi lake canoe expedition. On the expedition, in addition to further classes, participants will experience a number of real world wilderness medicine scenarios. Participants will sleep in and practice wilderness living (cooking, tent camping, etc.). The program will conclude with the final evening back at the camp.
