OVERVIEW

7th Epigenomics of Common Diseases is organized by Wellcome Genome Campus and would be held during Nov 14 - 17, 2017 at Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre, Cambridgeshire, England, United Kingdom.

Course Description:
Epigenetic variation plays an important role in disease processes and provides a promising focus for disease prediction, prevention and treatment. Technological advancements in the past few years have fuelled a dramatic increase in the scale, breadth and availability of epigenomic reference data. Associations between epigenetic variation, a variety of risk factors and the development of many diseases continue to emerge but causality has, in many instances, not yet been established.

This meeting will focus on epigenomic studies across of a wide range of common and other diseases including cancer, and will include approaches from a variety of different disciplines. It will explore technological and methodological developments and provide a forum to present and discuss recent advances in epigenomics of relevance to human disease. This year’s meeting will emphasise recent studies on epigenetics of ageing, brain diseases, chromatin architecture, regulatory networks, and computational epigenomics. There will also be a special session on the approaches needed to demonstrate causality in epigenetic studies.

Conference Objectives are :
• Epigenomics of ageing
• Evolution and epigenetics
• Inheritance of epigenetic programmes
• Populational and clinical epigenetics
• Epigenomics of brain disease
• Causality in epigenetic studies
• 4D nucleome
• Enhancers and regulatory networks
• Computational epigenomics and bioinformatics
• New epigenomic technologies

Additional Details will be posted as soon as they are available.
