7th Annual Seattle Otology & Rhinology Course

7th Annual Seattle Otology & Rhinology Course is organized by Seattle Science Foundation (SSF) and would be held during Mar 9 -11, 2017 at Seattle Science Foundation, Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event are practicing otolaryngologists, otologists, rhinologists, nurse practitioners and physicians’ assistants in the United States who would like to broaden their scope of practice in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the paranasal sinuses, eustachian tubes and temporal bone.

The goal of the course is to optimize the time each participant is taking away from their practice by building confidence to address more complicated pathology in the paranasal sinuses and temporal bone. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Objectives
• Apply a step-wise approach for cholesteatoma eradication and middle ear reconstruction
• Recognize the basic middle ear mechanics behind various middle ear reconstructions
• Recognize the key anatomic danger areas in labyrinthectomy
• Develop a standardized workup for conductive hearing loss patients
• Identify opportunities and limitations for imaging implantable devices
• Review current and future technology under development designed to treat hearing loss
• Outline current hearing preservation outcomes from cochlear implantations
• Outline a standardized approach to second stage reconstruction of the middle ear and chronic ear surgery
