4th Annual Spring To Life Conference on Hematologic Malignancies : Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) is organized by MedEd Consulting Inc and would be held on May 20, 2017 at Albany Marriott Hotel, Albany, New York, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event are family and primary care practitioners, hematologists, oncologists, pathologists, pediatricians, allied health professionals (including nurses, pharmacists, and social workers), basic scientists, and members of the community (including patients and their family and caregivers). This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 3.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

The 2017 conference will focus on state-of-the-art management of myeloproliferative neoplasms. Specifically, the morning program, designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals, will detail current classifications, evidence-based diagnosis and treatment standards, and current controversies and clinical challenges in the field. An expert clinical panel will offer critical analyses/perspectives on emerging and ongoing translational and clinical studies. The conference will partner national experts, community practitioners, and members of the community in order to enhance understanding and collaboration between these groups, and to foster better care for and communication with patients with hematologic malignancies.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be better prepared to:
• Discuss the pathophysiology of myeloproliferative neoplasms: including chronic myeloid leukemia, myelofibrosis, polycythemia vera, essential thrombocytosis, and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia
• Evaluate updated practice guidelines and management tools, as well as recent data related to survival, quality of life, and efficacy of available therapies for patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms
• Identify strategies to better engage in patient-centered care
• Describe the design and eligibility criteria for ongoing clinical trials in myeloproliferative neoplasms.
