47th World Congress of Surgery of the International Society of Surgery (ISS) / Societe Internationale De Chirurgie (SIC)

The 47th World Congress of Surgery (WCS 2017) will make available the highest standards of surgery. The conference, organised by the International Society of Surgery (ISS/SIC), was formerly named ISW (International Surgery Week).

Special lectures and internationally recognised speakers will highlight the outstanding scientific program of this 47th edition of the conference. Attendees of WCS 2017 will have the chance to take part to workshops, plenary sessions, round table discussions, paper and poster presentations, as well as lectures covering a full range of topics. The focus of the ISS will be on the new generation of surgeons who represent the work force of the future.
