2nd Annual Payer and Provider Workshops in HCV and HIV : Tackling Patient Selection, Access, and Adherence Issues is organized by PRIME Education, Inc (PRIME) and would be held on Nov 08, 2017 at Morton's The Steakhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Nurses. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Overview:
This unique program offers managed care decision-makers and healthcare providers the opportunity to gather in the same room to discuss challenges in HCV and HIV care. Planned in partnership with the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), this program centers on case scenarios that reflect the most relevant and difficult issues in HCV and HIV treatment and patient management. Each program is led by top experts in HCV, HIV, and managed care pharmacy. These experts will share their perspectives and engage participants in discussing pressing issues faced by payer organizations and by providers in daily practice, with the goal of identifying approaches for better communication and efficient navigation of managed care requirements, and ways to leverage resources that can improve HCV and HIV care.

Conference Objectives are :
• Evaluate interprofessional roles for strengthening linkage to HIV and HCV care
• Assess patient eligibility for HIV prophylaxis or initiation of antiviral therapy for HIV, HCV, or co-infection
• Apply clinical trial data and evidence-based guidelines to make collaborative decisions on prophylaxis or treatment for patients with HIV, HCV, or co-infection
• Implement collaborative medication therapy management strategies to promote adherence and care retention
