17th International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) is organized by Bio Ascend LLC and would be held during May 12 - 15, 2017 at New York Marriott Marquis - New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event for Hematologists/oncologists who treat patients with CLL and researchers, oncology nurses, and pharmacists, and other clinicians and researchers with an interest in the biology, diagnosis, and treatment of CLL. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 16.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
• factors that contribute to the development of CLL
• the diagnosis, prognosis, and initial treatment of CLL
• factors that contribute to disease evolution and progression
• treatment of advanced disease
The International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) is a biannual meeting focused solely on advancing the understanding and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and related lymphoproliferative disorders. Founded in 1979, iwCLL is now the largest international meeting dedicated to these blood cancers, leading the scientific discussion on both laboratory-based research and clinical practice. The biannual meeting provides a forum that facilitates the exchange of information and encourages collaboration among international leaders and scientists interested in CLL and other lymphoproliferative disorders.
The 2017 assembly will review the state-of the-art and present exciting new concepts emerging from clinic-based and laboratory-based research about the pathobiology and treatment of this still incurable disease.
In 2017, the iwCLL program and special sessions will be organized around the following themes:
• current understanding of factors that contribute to the development of CLL
• new and emerging treatment options for managing patients
• sequencing of therapies for achieving long-term remissions
• recent advances in the diagnosis and prognosis of CLL
• improving communications between patients and healthcare professionals
