OVERVIEW
13th International Conference on Myasthenia Gravis and Related Disorders is organized by The New York Academy of Sciences and would be held during May 15 - 17, 2017 at The New York Academy Of Sciences, New York, United States of America.
The goals of this program are to:
• Provide a forum for basic, translational, and clinical researchers from academia and industry to present and discuss the most up-to-date findings in MG research;
• Explore and encourage multidisciplinary and multi-sector collaborations to enhance investigative approaches into MG and related autoimmune and neuromuscular disorders;
• Review current MG therapeutic options, ongoing clinical trials, and challenges and limitations faced in the clinic; and
• Identify knowledge gaps and future directions of research required for further breakthroughs.
Ten plenary sessions will span the full spectrum of research from bench to bedside, including structure and function of the neuromuscular junction, advances in immunology, recent clinical developments related to MG, outcome measurements, clinical trial development, animal models of neuromuscular disease, MG treatment updates, congenital and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndromes, thymectomy, and the MGTX trial.
