OVERVIEW

Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists (WSA) Annual Meeting 2016 is organized by Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists (WSA) and would be held during Sep 10 - 11, 2016 at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, United States of America.

The WSA Annual Meeting aims to provide its attendees updates on new developments and controversial issues in anesthesia, as well as the opportunity to practice skills and earn CME credits.

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Practice Management and Ambulatory Anesthesiology“. Lana Volz, MD and Michael Trawicki, MD, this year’s Program Co-Chairs, have invited several regional and national speakers to discuss these topics.

Highlights of this year’s schedule include an expert panel session on ambulatory practice management and a question and answer session on Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA’s). We will offer workshops focused on ultrasound-guided outpatient regional anesthesia. New this year, we will offer problem-based learning discussions. Speakers will present on a wide range of lecture topics and offer problem-based learning discussions. Residents from the State’s two anesthesiology teaching programs will present at the ever popular “Best of MARC (Midwest Anesthesiology Residents’ Conference)” session. There will be an opportunity to enjoy an evening with friends and colleagues during our sunset lake cruise.
