Surgical Pathology Update : Diagnostic Pearls for the Practicing Pathologist is organized by Educational Symposia and would be held during Oct 07 - 09, 2016 at Aria Resort and Casino Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States Of America.
The targeted audience for this medical event is basically for practicing pathologists. This medical conference 2016 aims to provide a comprehensive and practical review of soft tissue, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, gynecologic and dermatopathology, as well as an overview of diagnostic immunohistochemistry and other ancillary diagnostic techniques.
This CME conference is approved with 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits.
At the completion of this course attendees should be able to :
* Develop an approach to common morphologic patterns seen in soft tissue tumors
* Develop an understanding of the characteristic histologic features that allow clear separation of the acute and chronic hepatitis patterns
* Develop an understanding of the utility of clinical history and laboratory findings in averting misinterpretation of histologic findings in medical liver biopsies
* Learn and apply diagnostic criteria for difficult benign melanocytic neoplasms
* Understand the importance of key pathologic parameters in the management of patients with T1 bladder cancer
* Become familiar with the rationale for and updated methods of endoscopic surveillance in inflammatory bowel disease, including the epidemiology of cancer risk
* Learn the updated epidemiology of cancer risk and Barrett esophagus and the current data on the efficacy of endoscopic surveillance.
