The target audience for this medical event are ophthalmologists, residents, and fellows interested in a comprehensive update on the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the management of patients with glaucomatous, anterior segment, and retinal disorders. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 11.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
• Formulate an evidence-based approach to optimize the diagnosis of ophthalmic disorders
• Analyze the role of imaging innovations in the diagnosis and ongoing management of ophthalmic disorders
• Develop evidence-based pharmacologic treatment plans for patients with ophthalmic disorders who are candidates for drug therapy
• Describe safety and efficacy data for emerging pharmacologic treatments for a variety of ophthalmic disorders
• Compare the safety and efficacy of innovative ophthalmic surgical techniques with those of traditional techniques
