• Explain the risks, benefits, and alternatives of pituitary surgery to patients with different disease states;
• Discuss complex management of patients with acromegaly;
• Improve interpretation of subtle radiographic clues to the differential diagnosis of pituitary disorders in practice;
• Explain the genetic role of acromegaly and pituitary tumors and their implications on the role of medical therapy when discussing management with patients;
• Appropriately manage hypopituitarism;
• Improve their evaluation of medical and surgical options to manage hyperprolactinemia;
• Better assess the potential for clinically silent pituitary adenomas to transition to functioning adenomas.
