Pelvic MRI Course 2016

Pelvic MRI Course is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and would be held during Nov 12 - 14, 2016 at Zuckerman Research Center, New York, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for practicing radiologists and radiologists in training; anyone with an interest in pelvic MRI. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 19.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

The use of pelvic MRI in routine clinical practice is growing rapidly, mainly due to the extensive literature supporting its clinical value and expanding clinical indications. This hands-on course will offer the opportunity to learn or brush up on pelvic MRI skills. Short lectures and whole case reviews on individual workstations will demonstrate the pearls and pitfalls in the evaluation of the following examinations performed for various clinical indications :
• Gynecologic MRI
• Prostate MRI
• Rectal MRI

Conference Objectives are :
• Become familiar with pelvic MRI indications, acquisition protocols and the normal appearance of male and female pelvic structures as visualized on MRI
• Identify abnormal findings on pelvic MRI and the relevance of these findings to patient care
• Recognize the imaging appearances of treated pelvic cancers and pelvic cancer recurrence
• Highlight the value of structured reporting and standardized lexicon in pelvic MRI
