North Carolina Orthopaedic Association (NCOA) Annual Meeting 2016

North Carolina Orthopaedic Association (NCOA) Annual Meeting is organized by North Carolina Orthopaedic Association (NCOA) and would be held during Oct 07 - 09, 2016 at Pinehurst Resort, Pinehurst, North Carolina, United States of America. The NCOA Annual Meeting is designed as an opportunity for orthopaedic surgeons to exchange expertise and novel ideas, and to advance the practice of orthopaedics to improve care for the citizens of North Carolina.

Objectives :

At the conclusion of this educational activity participants should be able to:

• Discuss the current state of the opioid epidemic nationally and in North Carolina and strategies to minimize narcotic usage and recognize signs of prescription drug abuse.
• Discuss the current updates from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
• Review and compare the treatment and outcomes of periprosthetic joint infections.
