The program will be specifically designed to help you achieve Maintenance of Certification requirements. The program will be a full-day event with presentations on topics including sports, pediatrics, trauma, adult reconstruction, spine, geriatrics, metabolic bone disease, upper extremity, foot & ankle and hand surgery.
In addition, the program will offer a legislative and regulatory update and the installation of its incoming Officers and Board of Directors.
Objectives
NYSSOS activities are intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the conclusion of the course, the participant should be able to :
• Identify individual learning gap(s) and topic(s) in which further learning is required for SAE credits.
• Understand whether or not he/she has achieved a demonstrated knowledge and competence in their identified learning gap(s) following self-study.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of self-study in a particular subject area.
• Fulfill a portion of SAE requirements required for ABOS MOC.
