OVERVIEW

Module III : A Metabolic and Functional Approach to Neurology is organized by Tarsus CNS and would be held during Sep 22 - 24, 2016 at Hyatt Regency Dallas, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.

This course will cover pathophysiology and the role of neurotransmitters, inflammatory and degenerative disorders, neurovascular diseases, psychological and psychiatric syndromes, the gut-immune-brain connection and healthy brain function. 

Objectives:
Upon completion of this module, the participants will :
• Describe the energy producing ability of the mitochondria and their role in revitalizing neurological tissue
• Recognize common neurotransmitter imbalances and how to diagnose them
• Discuss new treatment modalities for multiple sclerosis, stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, ALS and Alzheimer's disease
• Recognize the parameters within the Functional Medicine Matrix that would indicate the need for attention to neurotransmitter function and identify common antecedents, triggers and mediators when an imbalance or dysfunction is suspected
• Identify basic neurochemistry as it relates to mood and cognition • Outline some of the many interactions of neurotransmitters with hormonal function and dysfunction

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If you are calling to cancel, for verification we will still require you to send an email to info@brainweek.org with your intent to cancel. You will receive confirmation of your cancellation via email.

We will offer a 100% refund within 72 hours from the time of purchase less $100 credit card processing fee.

After 72 hours, refunds will be less 50%. All refund requests must be made in writing and post marked or tax stamped no later than 90 days before the event.

No refund will be made if the request is made within 90 days of the educational event. Refunds will not be issued to non-show registrants.

Substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellation. No transfers to alternate events will be made if the request is submitted within 90 days of the original event.

Persons who register and fail to attend will not receive a refund. BRAINWeek, at its sole discretion, may transfer your registration to an upcoming conference or to a healthcare provider colleague. Cancellation of your conference registration does not automatically cancel your hotel room reservation. Please contact the hotel to cancel your room; penalties may apply.
