Introduction to Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound - Hands-On Only Workshop 2016

The Introduction to Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound hands-on only workshop is taught by leading vascular ultrasound experts. The scan only course is open to participants who have completed a previous live or online GCUS TCD ultrasound course. The scanning is conducted during the afternoon and provides extensive hands-on scanning featuring a 3:1 ratio with live models and inanimate phantoms, for a realistic training experience. The vascular ultrasound protocols are taught in accordance with AIUM and IAC guidelines. The scanning only workshop provides additional skills training to begin integrating the techniques learned into clinical practice.
