Improving Critical & Acute care Through Regional Education (ICARE) is organized by University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine and would be held during Dec 08 - 10, 2016 at The Chancellor Hotel, Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event are basically for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, EMS, health/medical educators, firemen, and other allied health care professionals.
The purpose of the ICARE Conference is to raise awareness and provide an educational update to frontline emergency healthcare practitioners regarding :
• Updates in evidence-based diagnostic and treatment recommendations for commonly encountered emergency situations
• Assessment and treatment of traumatic injury
• Appropriate care and followup for acute manifestations of chronic conditions (e.g. diabetes, obesity, hypertension)
• The most effective strategies for promoting overall preventive health measures in emergency departments to increase statewide access to care.
