General and ER / CC Scanning Skills Workshop (Feb, 2016)

The scanning skills workshop is taught by leading ultrasound experts. This ultrasound training program is designed to reinforce and improve scanning skills for emergency medicine, critical care abdominal and OB-GYN ultrasound applications. Scanning live models and inanimate phantoms provides the perfect opportunity to improve scanning proficiency.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. Increase knowledge and skills to perform ultrasound examinations (specific exams based on specialty track selected).
2. Demonstrate appropriate scan techniques and protocols for performing ultrasound examinations.
3. Improve scanning skills and increase diagnostic confidence.
4. Perform examinations under supervised conditions to help fulfill credentialing and/or individual certification requirements.
