Essentials of Cosmetic Dermatology 2016

Essentials of Cosmetic Dermatology is organized by American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and would be held during Oct 22 - 23, 2016 at Hyatt Regency OHare, Rosemont, Illinois, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event basically for dermatology residents and fellows in need of training in cosmetic dermatology beyond what is available in residency training programs.

Essentials of Cosmetic Dermatology is designed to provide practical cosmetic dermatology information to residents and fellows in dermatology training programs. Topics include use of fillers and neuromodulators, including adverse effects, liposuction, hair transplantation, lasers, cosmeceuticals and treatment of scars. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 14.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives :
• Assess the benefits and risks of performing procedures commonly used in cosmetic dermatology according to a patient’s clinical situation.
• Describe the risks of each cosmetic procedure and methods to minimize such risks.
• Perform procedures commonly used in cosmetic dermatology, including botulinum toxin injections, laser surgery, fillers, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and liposuction.
• Educate patients on appropriate skin care associated with cosmetic dermatology procedures.
