Controversies in Dialysis Access (CiDA) and Simulation of Dialysis Access (SoDA) is organized by Complete Conference Management (CCM) and would be held during Oct 20 - 21, 2016 at Hilton Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas, United States of America. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 13.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of surgeons, interventional radiologists, nephrologists, and medical staff who care for dialysis access patients.

• Explain the use and benefits of ultrasound vascular mapping for selection of best hemodialysis access.
• Demonstrate how to use ultrasound for needle cannulation of dialysis access conduits for hemodialysis.
• Learn the skills of balloon angioplasty and stent placement in an arm dialysis access computer simulator.
• Determine what tools to use in open and interventional access surgery.
• Describe various vascular anastomosis suturing techniques for dialysis access.
• Recall the order of surgical steps in common access procedures that utilize access surgical instruments and tools.
• Recognize the role and value of simulation in training for dialysis access.
