Clinical and Contemporary Interventional Radiology 2016

This one-day educational conference focuses on what is new and notable in interventional radiology. The conference will be separated into short didactic lecture sessions and a best case/worst case session, where use of new and novel techniques will be featured in addition to morbidity/mortality. New for this year will be a “rapid-fire rundown”, which will summarize the most influential and important IR publications of the preceding year. There will be a total of 5.5 hours of topic lectures and one hour of best case/worst case for a total of 6.5 hours of educational content.

This conference includes lectures by some of the great young minds in IR, as well as a multidisciplinary session where we can learn IR-relevant clinical skills from our colleagues in cardiology, hepatology, anesthesiology, and radiation oncology. The involvement of junior attendings, IR fellows, and IR-interested residents will allow networking opportunities for job seekers, research and clinical collaboration.
