Educational Objectives

• Participants will be able to discuss issues and management strategies related to complications after open or endovascular aortic surgery
• Participants will understand the feasibility of aortic surgery as day surgery and economic costs associated with it
• Participants will be able to describe current trends and outcomes of carotid surgery and stenting and factors related to delays in surgery.
• Participants will be able to describe issues relating to wound care, venous disease, vascular access and peripheral vascular disease and patient outcomes.
• Participants will have an understanding of the organizational and regional issues related to vascular surgery
• Participants will be able to identify their own knowledge gaps by participating in VESP Jeopardy
