• Explain the impact of clinical trials for imaging selection in acute ischemic stroke, novel intraventricular therapies for cerebral vasospasm, thrombolysis for intraventricular hemorrhage and routing of stroke patients to designated centers.
• Describe the critiques and limitations of these studies.
• Compare medical versus surgical management of acute ischemic stroke, cavernous malformations, cerebral artery dissection, venous sinus thrombosis and other cerebrovascular disorders.
• Formulate evidence-based treatment algorithms for the management of patients with these conditions.
