Annual American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Review Course 2016 is organized by American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and and would be held during Aug 12-14, 2016 at Westin Chicago River North, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event is basically for any orthopaedic surgeons preparing for the recertification and/or the sports subspecialty exam or others, including athletic trainers, who would like and in-depth review of orthopaedic sports medicine. This CME Conference has been approved with 17.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to :
• Implement an effective evaluation algorithm for musculoskeletal and medical sports medicine conditions.
• Assess and apply surgical and nonsurgical treatment recom- mendations and rehabilitation protocols for the management of essential musculoskeletal and medical conditions germaneto the practice of orthopaedic sports medicine.
• Integrate prevention strategies with their health care team(s) to improve musculoskeletal and medical health in their patient population.
• Analyze and interpret research and imaging.
