Advanced Breast Imaging with MR Workstation 2016 is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and would be held during Sep 09 - 11, 2016 at Rockefeller Research Laboratories Conferences Center, New York, United States of America.
This course consists of didactic lectures with question and discussion periods as well as a two day Hands-On MR Workshop. It is designed for Diagnostic Radiologists who wish to begin or improve their interpretation of Breast MRI and state-of-the-art breast imaging.
Educational Objectives :
• Learn about the latest advances in breast imaging including topics in magnetic resonance imaging, digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast enhanced digital mammography, and radioactive seed localization
• Understand recent developments in the performance of breast ultrasound including indications for screening breast ultrasound, the role of breast density, and advanced ultrasound techniques
• Become familiar with essential aspects of the performance of breast MRI including indications, appropriate MR technique, how to correlate breast MR findings with those on conventional breast imaging, how to distinguish benign from potentially malignant breast MRI findings, and when and how to perform MR-guided biopsy.
