AAOS/OTA Current Advances in Orthopaedic Trauma: Tactics and Techniques for Trauma Challenges is organized by American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and would be held during Dec 2 - 3, 2016 at OLC Education and Conference Center, Rosemont, Illinois, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event basically for Orthopaedic trauma specialists and general orthopaedic surgeons who take trauma or fracture call.
Conference Objectives :
• Perform procedures associated with acute trauma call responsibilities of the upper and lower extremity
• Avoid complications such as infection, implant failure, and nonunions
• Execute open and minimally invasive surgical approaches focusing on relevant anatomy, implant position, and clamp position for fracture fixation
• Manage patient cases involving fracture specific fixation timing, staging principles, positioning, and fluoroscopy methods.
