OVERVIEW
A Practical Approach to Breast Imaging And Optional Mini-Course is organized by UCSF Continuing Medical Education and would be held during jan 10 - 15, 2016 at The Fairmont Orchid Hawaii, Waimea, HI.
Breast Imaging includes lecture sessions, panel discussion and small group workshops. Lecture topics include Breast MRI, BI-RADS updates and Tomosynthesis. Lecture sessions will conclude with Self-Assessment questions and discussion.
There is an optional four-hour session on "Current Controversies and Policies" on Tuesday afternoon (separate fee and registration). Topics are: Breast Density Reporting, Overdiagnosis, Breast Cancer Screening, and Controveries in Breast MRI. This CME conference has been approved with 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits
Conference Objectives:
1. Understand and appropriately utilize the current 5th edition of BI-RADS.
2. Develop a skillful and practical approach to breast imaging interpretation.
3. Understand medicolegal issues pertinent to breast imaging.
