OVERVIEW

8th Annual Southwest Trauma and Acute Care Symposium (STACS) is organized by Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) and would be held during Nov 10 - 11, 2016 at Talking Stick Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event are basically for physicians (in trauma, orthopedics, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and critical care) and registered nurses involved in trauma care in the acute resuscitation phase (emergency department and operating room) and in critical care. Others involved in trauma care on an advanced level. The Southwest Trauma and Acute Care Symposium (STACS) is a premier conference on current trauma care practices.

This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 14.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, the participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate innovative management techniques of both common and unusual trauma cases.
• Apply evidencebased medicine to trauma care.
• Differentiate the diagnosis and treatment options between pediatric and adult trauma cases.
• Demonstrate methods to integrate core trauma and the critical trauma subspecialties (such as pediatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, radiology, and others).
