7th Annual Stroke and Neurological Disease Conference

7th Annual Stroke and Neurological Disease Conference is organized by Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and would be held on May 21, 2016 at Westin Galleria Hotel, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.

The targeted audience for this medical event are Neurologists, Physicians, emergency medicine, Neurosurgeons, internal medicine, cardiologists and interventional neuroradiologists.The 7th Annual Stroke and Neurological Disease Conference will address critical issues related to decision making for and treatment of stroke patients. The optimal care for stroke patients is ever changing as a result of advances in stroke prevention, therapy and research.With the goal to update on the latest patient care recommendations, these specialists will convey the newest advances in the treatment of stroke in a format that allows for timely application of proven protocol.

Discussion will include treatment of acute ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, neuroimaging, cutting edge medical management and advanced endovascular treatments for stroke, advanced stroke care delivery and the diagnosis and management of vasculitis. Each of these topics will be covered in the context of case presentations and panel discussions that will allow for audience interaction with faculty. The conference lectures are designed to enhance dialogue on the current controversies in the treatment of stroke.

New this year, there is also specialized content and lectures addressing dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Experts in the field will discuss the diagnosis, imaging and management of patients with dementia, memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease. The day includes breakout sessions to allow participants to select the most applicable content. In fact, participants can choose afternoon breakout sessions devoted to either stroke or dementia topics.
