13th European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP)

The 13th European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP 2016) will be held in Berlin, Germany, from May, 25 – 28, 2016. Digital pathology, originally an offshoot of telepathology is advancing to incorporate modern medicine with systems science, image processing, business process modelling and knowledge management.

Methodological changes in microscopic techniques, imaging, molecular pathology, genetics and bioinformatics are drivers of digital pathology. With respect to rate of technical developments during the past years, time is right for an overview of potentials of scanning technology and their applicability in daily practice. The targeted audience for this medical meeting basically for Bioinformatics, Pathologists.
