Wounds UK Paediatric Masterclass

Wounds UK is pleased to announce the launch of a new half-day paediatric conference, dedicated exclusively to paediatric wound management. The sessions have been selected by members of the Paediatric Tissue Viability Nursing (TVN) group and include a variety of important topics.

There will be a focus on policy and politics with an introduction to the Paediatric TVN group and the importance of national standards. In addition, experts will share knowledge on how to effectively prevent and manage pressure ulcers, provide strategies for improving pain management and discuss the basic principles for optimising the treatment of minor burns. This promises to be an excellent addition to the Wounds UK Harrogate programme and will enable clinicians to strengthen their skills and understanding of paediatric wound management.
